Cold Storage for a COVID-19 Response

Cold Storage for a
COVID-19 Response

Spacesaver Interiors can help increase capacity in new or existing walk-in coolers, freezers, and cold storage warehouses, and we have decades of experience in highly regulated healthcare settings and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. In response to the pandemic, to help with the capacity and keeping the integrity of the supplies, we can help store more vaccines, test samples, or supplies and equipment to run a more efficient and streamlined operation.

Our high-density storage systems have been trusted by hospitals, warehouses, and pharmaceutical manufacturers for decades to:

1) Maximize Storage Volume

Eliminate wasted space to gain capacity in your existing cold room or warehouse. Think of your static, traditional shelving, there is an aisle between each shelving unit. When freezer or cooler square footage is a premium, eliminate the aisles between the shelving with mobile shelving right within your freezer or cooler.

2) Cut Costs

Consolidate storage to save staff time and reduce utility bills. As an example — the lab pictured above previously stored all of the samples they maintained on wire carts. They would have to move carts around to get to the specific cart they needed and there wasn’t much room to even accomplish that.  At most only one person could be in the cooler looking for samples at a time. This was a highly inefficient set up when retrievals were frequent. With mobile shelving, the samples are now organized in a much more space efficient way allowing for more access throughout out the cooler.

3) Save Energy

A full freezer is an efficient freezer. Maximize density to save energy.

4) Improve Inventory Control

With 100% selectivity and full visibility, our systems simplify inventory control and facilitate compliance.

5) Keep It Clean

Maintain a clean, organized environment with stainless steel and antimicrobial coating options.

Are you running out of space in your cold storage?

Let’s discuss some options that can help you make the most of your cold storage space while creating efficiencies and help you maintain the integrity of your supplies and samples.
